Nails.Did: 4th of July

I haven't posted my nails in a minute, sooo here's a lil simple something I got done for the 4th of July. I didn't get too crazy w/it because I don't plan on keeping the color for too long since it was done specifically for the holiday! Oooh AND those are my REAL nails! I have the HARDEST time growing out my nails, but when I got my last set removed I made sure to tell the woman to be careful b/c I wanted to keep my actual nails. So far they haven't chipped or broke yet... so we'll see! I have more pix from the holiday weekend, but I'll post those tomorrow!

Hmmm... so for those that are frequent readers of my blog, I apologize for slacking on my updates. I used to update all the time, but in all honesty Twitter has consumed most of my blogging ideas. Its micro-blogging format has robbed my own personal blog of content! hahaha! Not to mention, work has gotten pretty hectic, so I've had less time to blog. I mean I could do it at home, but the last thing I want to do when I get home is look at a computer! Buuuuut, I'm gonna try to get back up on it and start posting again. So we'll see how that goes...

In his latter years Michael Jackson may have lived a controversial life, but we can't let that overshadow his undeniable impact on Pop Culture and the music industry. Michael Jackson changed the game in the 1980s and brought entertainment, performance, and artistry to the next level. There is no doubt that in his prime, he set the standard -- the costumes, the dancing, the imagery of Michael Jackson the super star as a whole -- ultimately living up to and owning his title as The King of Pop.

Michael Jackson's body may have physically passed, but his music and impact on Popular Culture will live on forever.

If Cassie isn't suffering from bipolar or any other mental illnesses then she truly needs to grow up and find Jesus...either way, she needs Jesus. She is a silver spoon-fed, Connecticut, rich, nepotism-bred bimbo who deserves NOTHING she has right now. NOTHING! And I give credit where credit is due and she deserves nothing she has, not even that modeling contract. Maybe a cameo on Degrassi or Hannah Montana but that is it.

I mean, really, with all of the talent out here and money goes into this? Money that could be donated, invested, or saved for emergencies and essential needs?

Charlamagne goes INNNN on Cassie!! [Red Cafe & Cassie interview]

Philly's 100.3 The Beat's Charlamagne recently interviewed Cassie and Red Cafe and rips Cassie a new ass hole (so that she can take a pic of it and post it on the internet like her other hole). He reminds Cassie that she's talentless, an idiot for taking cunt-nekkid pix, and that she's gotta speak up cuz she's living in a "Beyonce & Rihanna world." O0ooweeeeee!! I never really hated on Cassie before, but after she starting taking credit for her recent hair cut and making main stream culture believe that she started a trend or a "hair movement," I was turned tha fuck offffff!! Soooo many people in the street culture/counter-culture scene have been rocking that shaved head hair-do for yeeeeeeears so getthafakouttahere -- that's a whole other post though!! I do have to give Cassie credit though for composing herself and handling the blunt remarks well.

He doesn't diss Red Cafe, but he does ask him why on earth he would sign to Bad Boy and calls out Diddy for being whack and having ghost writers. Pretty much the whole thing is heeeelarious!! Listen for yourself:
